How to setup softphone? #
To receive calls on a FlowTrack number using a softphone, you would need to configure your softphone to register with your FlowTrack account. This typically involves entering your SIP credentials, which can be found in your FlowTrack account dashboard. Once your softphone is registered, you should be able to receive calls to your FlowTrack number directly on your computer or smartphone.
It's important to note that your softphone's performance will depend on the quality of your Internet connection. You should ensure that your connection is fast and stable to ensure that your calls are clear and uninterrupted. Additionally, you should be aware of any bandwidth limitations that may affect your softphone's performance.

What is SIP Domain?**
SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) domain refers to the domain name that identifies the location of a SIP server or user agent. A SIP domain is a logical grouping of devices, users, and services that can communicate with each other using the SIP protocol.
For example, if you have a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) system that uses SIP to handle calls, each user or device will have a unique SIP address that includes a domain name. This domain name identifies the SIP server that manages the user's or device's calls.
In addition to identifying the location of a SIP server or user agent, a SIP domain can also provide other information such as the codecs and transport protocols supported by the server or user agent. This information is important for ensuring that calls can be properly routed and transmitted between different SIP domains.
Once you got the domain then you need to choose Transport as mentioned in below screenshot:
- What should be Transport? Select TLS as a Transport
Click “USE” and you are good to use your softphone on Linphone application.
Note: Same instructions should be followed for Mobile Application.
